Spent some time over the weekend to fit the kit. If one has a RX135 magneto puller, it only helps you remove the stock rotor. You need to get the RX100 puller to fit the light rotor...I borrowed one from a local mech. Connections to the CDI & RR is straightforward. Put the brass coil plate in the middle position (its rotatable without bothering about drilling holes or moving pulsar coil).
Ran the bike for a few km, felt sluggish and symptoms of rich jetting...though revs would build up eventually.
Opened up and rotated the coil plate fully clockwise to advance the timing. One kick start, crisp throttle response and off I go...sweet

Lighting's better than I had with the rewinding of the coil and bike revs much smoother than before.
Ron...since you had not tried with this batch on RXGs, so here you go...they are a perfect kit wrt coil plate positions, screws etc.
I'll come over sometime & borrow the dial gauge, I'll have to check the timing to be sure with the new coil plate position. Right now, based on by my 'ride & feel' method, I think I'm safe!
Thank you!
